![]() The masters themselves are no slouches, coming armed with solid blackjacks that can crack even the toughest of skulls and coming armored in padded clothes that protect from crushing and piercing force. The hounds have a nose for evil, granting parties a greater chance of ambushing enemies and making it harder for the party to be surprised, and their sharpened teeth excel in causing hideous, bleeding wounds in enemy hides. Houndmasters are men and women who have trained from a young age to serve with a loyal sidekick, coming paired with brave and relentless hounds every bit as steely as their masters.Crusaders will, however, join in missions into the Darkest Dugeon once they reach high enough levels. In addition, Crusaders will not join in any party containing an Occultist or Abomination, and have reservations about hiring out to any party with certain player classes in them. Because they tend to drive themselves so relentlessly, they rarely ever stop to rest in evil territory, quickly tiring themselves out and diminishing their usefulness as a mission drags on. Their glorious aura and steadfast determination serve to shield allies from stress damage and can even heal wounds with encouragement woven through hymns of the Light, and Crusaders themselves are almost impossible to damage with vile magic… But their crusade against evil has a few downsides. ![]() The Crusader is a staunch defender of the Light’s order, armored not only in heavy plate, but in invincible faith as well.Some more NPC class tidbits from the Darkest Dungeon campaign
